This little one was inspired by Bramble, my own African pygmy hedgehog. Like Bramble, he’s small, round, a little bit prickly and happiest somewhere warm, so a sunny window suits him perfectly.
He’s made from rich brown glass for his spines and soft, swirled cream opal for his face and tummy. In the sun the cream glows warm and the brown turns a deep chestnut. His joins are soldered by hand with a black finish, and he has a googly eye and a black hanging chain.
He’s made and ready to go. Glass is handmade, so you may spot tiny bubbles or swirls in it. That’s part of its character.
